William Olen Dodson, Sr.

William Olen Dodson, Sr. 65, of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at Archbold Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Born July 30, 1956, in Vero Beach, Florida, he was the son of the late Clarence Dodson, Sr. and Peggy Butler Wells.  Mr. Dodson retired from Todd Walden Roofing and Construction as a roofer and was of the Baptist faith.  He loved his family, enjoyed fishing, working on cars.   Mr. Dodson had a blast riding around the neighborhood on his scooter.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Mark Wells.

Survivors include his son, William Olen Dodson, Jr. and wife Robin of Hartsfield; grandchildren, Haley Dodson, Hannah Dodson, Jada Dodson; great-grandson, Gunner Smith; sisters and brother, Darlene Hamilton of Vero Beach, Florida, Sheila Dodson of Alabama, Ramona Jackson of Moultrie, Clarence “Toot” Dodson, Jr. of Moultrie.
