Wilma Josephine Wallace, 82, passed away, Thursday, August 11, 2022, at Sunrise Nursing Home.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Born September 29, 1939, in New York, New York, she was the daughter of the late George Gaines and Helen Mabel Gaines. She loved to travel, enjoyed exercising and riding a bicycle. Her hobbies included playing card games, boating, and sewing. Other interests included being outdoors and riding horses. She loved her family deeply.
Survivors include her children, Vivian Denise Richard of Hahira, GA., Raymond George Harris and wife Sharon of Tucson, AZ., Deidra Bell of Aurora CO.; grandchildren, Marcus Harris, Aisha Harris, Dawn Meadows, Xaviea Bell, Delia Bell, Tiffany Collier, Aaron Harris, Desiray Bell; fourteen great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; brother, David “Harry” Gaines and wife Arlene of Albany, NY.
Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
