William "Toney" Jordan

William “Toney” Jordan, 65, of Moultrie, passed away Wednesday May 12, 2021 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

          A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Rose of Sharon Church Cemetery with the Rev. Hugh Ward officiating.

          The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery.

          Born July 9, 1955 in Moultrie, he was the son of the late James Eddie Jordan and Betty Jean Jordan.  Mr. Jordan was a radio broadcaster in his earlier years and then started driving trucks for Raven Trucking Company in which he retired.  He loved taking photos of wildlife and was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Eddie Jordan, Jr.; brother-in-law, Walter Williford, Jr.

          Survivors include his sisters, Cheryl Williford of Coolidge, Deidre Hurley and husband HB “Scooter” of Norman Park; nephews and nieces, Christian “Bucky” Jordan, Walt Williford III, Heather Harrison, Jordee Williford and Jordana Tanner.

          Memorial contributions may be made to Rose of Sharon Church Cemetery.
