Moultrie, Georgia – William Jackson Powell, 85, of Moultrie, Georgia, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026, at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Lakewood Ranch, Florida.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, August 2, 2026, at Mount Sinai Baptist Church, with the Reverend William Jackson Powell, III, officiating. Interment will be at Mount Sinai Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 2:45 PM, Sunday, at Mount Sinai Baptist Church.
