William "Bill" Turner Simpson

William Turner Simpson, “Bill”, 67, of Moultrie, passed away March 23, 2021.

          A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Cobb Funeral Chapel.  Social distancing guidelines will be followed, and masks are recommended.

          The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM – 11:00 AM Saturday at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

 He was the son of the late Jim and Peggy Simpson of Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Simpson owned and operated convenience stores in Moultrie, GA. His story isn’t in what he did for a living but how he did it. He showed great kindness and generosity.  He was a passionate and a great supporter of soccer within the community. He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Debra Jane Cagle Simpson; his daughter Margaret Ivey Simpson; his son Colby Cagle Simpson and wife Christie Jones Simpson; his grandchildren Wilder Grace Simpson and Arlo Jones Simpson; his sisters Susan Jane Simpson and Nancy Simpson Hodgson and son Simon Hodgson. The Simpson family asks for memorials to be sent to Colquitt County Hospice as they provided so much love and care throughout the last year of Bill’s life. The family ask for love and prayers and to celebrate the life he lived.
