William "Bill" Eugene Miller

William Eugene “Bill” Miller, 63, of Moultrie passed away at his residence on Friday, July 9, 2021. 

A memorial service with military honors will be held at 4:00 PM Friday, July 16, 2021, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Dr. David Benton officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. 

Mike Stiess will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

Born February 20, 1958, in Moultrie, GA, he was the son of the late William Lacey Miller and Dorothy Roberts Miller.  Mr. Miller proudly served his country from 1979-1997, having retired from the United States Army.  He also served the City of Moultrie as a lineman and was a law enforcement officer with the Colquitt County Sheriff’s Department.  He was an avid hunter who loved being outdoors and enjoying wildlife.  He was of the Baptist faith, and was an outgoing gentleman who was always willing to help others. He loved his grandchildren dearly. 

Survivors include his wife, Susan Marie Paschal Miller; sons, Jeffery Eugene Miller and wife Abby of Moultrie, Jason Lee Miller and Jennifer of Moultrie; grandchildren, Hunter Bryson Miller, John Dylan Miller, Brynlee June Miller, Isabella Casteel; brother, David Miller and wife Susan of Valdosta; sister, Ann Miller of Valdosta; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandchild, Jaci Madelyn Miller.
