Willie Fred Baker

Willie Fred Baker, 70, of Thomasville, formerly of Moultrie, passed away January 2, 2022, at his home.

Private graveside rites will be held in Westview Cemetery.

Born June 27, 1951, in Moultrie, he was the son of the late Sidney William Baker and Theresie Murilla Mullis Baker.  Mr. Baker was a graduate of Moultrie High School.  He was the facilities manager at Southwestern State Hospital and a member of Moultrie Church of God where he enjoyed singing in a quartet.  Mr. Baker was an extremely nice gentleman who had compassion for others.  He enjoyed fishing, cooking, family gatherings and listening to the Gaither gospel music.   

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his six siblings.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Jenifer Marie Murphy Baker of Thomasville; several nieces, nephews and other family members.
