NORMAN PARK, GA – James Wayne Wix, 78, of Norman Park, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023 at his home.
No formal services are planned.
Born August 26, 1944, in Miami, Florida, he was the son of the late Whitey Wix and Ruth Mullins Wix. Mr. Wix retired from Lasseter Tractor as a parts manager and was of the Baptist faith. He loved his family and was an avid Nascar fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lorene Manders Wix; brothers, Danny Wix and Timothy Wix.
Survivors include his children, James Wayne Wix, Jr. and wife Kim of Woodstock, GA, Elisa Ball of Norman Park, GA, Jennifer Wix of South Pittsburg, TN; two grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; brothers, George Corky Wix, Sr. of Fannie Springs, FL, Terry Wix of Port St. Lucie, FL.
