Warren Hancock Putnam

Warren Hancock Putnam, 69, of Moultrie, passed away Monday, October 11, 2021.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Born July 20, 1952, in French Lick, Indiana, he was the son of the late Glenn Putnam and Mary Jane Hancock Putnam.  Warren had a servant’s heart which was expressed in caring for others during his lifelong career and service in the mortuary profession.  In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling with family, collecting vintage radios, and watching classic movies.  Collecting antiques was among his favorite hobbies. Warren was a true friend to countless people with whom he enjoyed sharing the treasures of his heart.  He was of the Methodist faith. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Amy Joyner Putnam; son, Darin Hogan Putnam, sister, Ann Putnam and stepmother, Jane Putnam.

Survivors include his sons, Christopher Warren Putnam and Thomas Glenn Putnam; grandson, Jakob Teegarden; mother of his children, Elaine Hogan Putnam; stepdaughter, Abby Jones; nephew, Michael Powell; niece, Marianne LeMastus Powell.
