Wanda Sue Tucker Cooper

Wanda Sue Tucker Cooper, 62, of Moultrie, passed away Monday, October 11, 2021, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, October 15, 2021, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.  Interment will follow in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens. 

The family will receive friends 10-10:45 AM Friday at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Casketbearers will be Trent Cooper, Jonathan Williams, Gene Cooper, Jacob Cooper, Ray Johnson, and Gadsden Moore.   Austin Cooper will be honorary casketbearer.

Born December 21, 1958, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late George Tucker and Eliza White Tucker.  Mrs. Cooper was a Certified Nursing Assistant with Home Health Care and was a member of Moultrie Church of God.   She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother who loved her family dearly especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.   In her spare time, Mrs. Wanda enjoyed being outside working with her lilies, going to the mountains and attending yard sales.  She cherished all the family’s gatherings, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas.   

Survivors include her husband, Russell “Rusty” Eugene Cooper of Moultrie; sons, Jonathan Cooper and girlfriend Carmen Anderson of Nashville, Georgia, Justin Cooper and wife Amanda of Moultrie; grandchildren, Austin Cooper, Jessie Cooper, Haley Redfearn, Lalah Redfern, Rebecca Williams and husband Jonathan, Trent Cooper and girlfriend Kirstin Shiver; great-granddaughter, Georgia Williams; brothers, Ed Tucker and wife Karen, “R.T.” Robert Tucker and wife Jan all of Moultrie; sister, Teresa Cook and husband Dennis of Moultrie.
