Walter John Barden

          Walter John Barden, 63, of Moultrie, died Friday, September 3, 2021 at his home.

          A Celebration of Life will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 11, 2021 at his home, 4246 Lower Meigs Road, Moultrie.

            Born July 2, 1958 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, he was the son of the late Clyde Parker Barden and Verda Mae Schutt Barden. He was a retired truck driver with Pate Logging.  Mr. Barden was an avid Nascar fan and enjoyed fishing.  He was a man of few words, was “laid back” and humble.  He enjoyed his life as a trucker.

            Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Crawford Barden of Berlin; two sons, Chad Barden of Atlanta and Walter J. Barden, Jr. of Telfair, Ga.; one daughter, Carrie Harris of Moultrie; two grandchildren, Haven and Noah; three sisters, Jennifer Barden Pope of Moultrie, Clydele Barden of Monticello, In., Quenna Patrick and husband Bubba of Columbus, Ga.; two brothers, Christopher Barden of Colorado and Ricky Barden of Florida.

            Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 2452 Spring Road, S.E., Smyrna, GA 30080
