Vivian Grant Anderegg

Vivian Grant Anderegg, 98, of Moultrie, GA, peacefully transitioned to her heavenly home on Friday, February 4, 2022, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date.

Born October 13, 1923, in Doerun, GA, she was the daughter of the late John A. Grant and Trudye Layton Grant.  Mrs. Vivian was known as a classy southern lady who was always cheerful and loved fellowshipping with others.  Travelling with her late husband, Bob, and spending time with her precious family brought her great joy.  Not one detail was left undone with Mrs. Vivian, as she was well known for her attentive care in every situation.  She was a committed citizen of Colquitt County, serving in a number of volunteer and civic organizations, including Colquitt Regional Medical Center Bluebirds, Moultrie Federated Guild, Moultrie Jr. Women’s Club, Azalea Garden Club, and Tallulah Falls School Board of Trustees.  Through the years she encouraged many people by calling and sending thoughtful letters and cards. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert William “Bob” Anderegg. 

Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl Lumley and husband Jim of Snellville; son, Robert “Bob” Anderegg and wife Bren of Orchid Island, Florida; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; dear friend Larry Manning; and special caretaker and friend Patricia Macklin.
