Vickie Lynn Younce Ganas

Vickie Lynn Younce Ganas, 66, of Moultrie, died Friday, December 6, 2020 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

          Funeral services will be held 2:00PM Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Lamar Burkette officiating.  Interment will follow in Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens.  The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at Cobb Funeral Chapel.  Social distancing guidelines will be followed, and masks are recommended.

          Born August 2, 1954 in Moultrie, she was the daughter of the late John W. Younce and Aretta York Younce Taylor.  Mrs. Ganas was a registered nurse at South Georgia Medical Center and was of the Baptist faith.  She loved her family, friends, never met a stranger and was a very outgoing person.   Mrs. Ganas enjoyed working in the yards when she was able and being on her computer.

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, A. W. Ganas. 

          Survivors include her stepfather, Roy Taylor and wife Elizabeth of Moultrie; aunts, Audrey Dozier of Albany, Avis Norman of Moultrie, Arnestine Adams and husband Herb of Manchester, Jonnie Blanton of Moultrie; uncle, Alvin York and wife Rayzine of North Carolina; cousin, Shirley York and husband Jerry of Moultrie special companion, Bobo; several cousins and other family members.
