Vicki Chafin Strickland

Vicki Chafin Strickland, 63, of Moultrie, died Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

          Funeral services will be held 10:00AM Friday, July 3, 2020 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Andy Cashwell officiating.   Friends are welcome to attend but social distancing is required.   Interment will be in Oakdale Cemetery.

          Casketbearers will be David Causey, Brad Roberts, Randy Chafin, Kenneth Chafin, Joe Durham and Terrance Laney.

          Born December 17, 1956 in Moultrie, she was the daughter of the late Franklin Eugene Chafin and Betty Jones Chafin.  Mrs. Strickland was a legal secretary at Joe Durham Law office and was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Franklin Eugene “Buster” Chafin, Jr. and Clarence Allen “Scooter” Chafin.

          Survivors include her children, Lee Causey and husband David, Angie Roberts and husband Brad, Carrie Norman all of Moultrie, Beau Jarrell of Thomasville; grandchildren, Camden Massey, Dawson Massey, Madeline Norman, Beylee Roberts, Hayden Roberts, Emma Norman, Turner Causey and Drew Norman; sister, Jeri Chastain and husband John; several nieces, nephews and other family members.
