Vicki Lynn DeMott

Vicki Lynn DeMott, 73, of Moultrie, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021 at her home.

           Services will be private.

Born February 9, 1947 in Moultrie, she was the daughter of Gwendolyn Maire Wells Colson of Moultrie and the late Roscoe Eudonna DeMott.  Ms. DeMott was an accountant at DeMott Peanut Company and was a member of Doerun United Methodist Church.  She was a very talented painter, an avid bridge player and enjoyed growing orchids.  Her family and friends remember how she was lighthearted, funny, and known for her laugh and her caring smile.  Ms. DeMott was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution.

          In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Nicholas Martinez; brother, Brett DeMott.

          In addition to her mother, survivors include her children, Donna Martinez and husband Rolando of Moultrie, Pam Fisher and husband Ian of Conifer, CO, Lorrie McCarty of Moultrie and Tonya McCarty of Stafford, VA; grandchildren, Alan Fisher, Michael Fisher, Erica Fisher and Haley Martinez; brother, Mike DeMott and wife Janet of Moultrie; stepfather, Bill Colson of Moultrie; sister-in-law, Pam DeMott of Honduras.
