Moultrie, Georgia – Tommy Wendell Willoughby, Jr., 54, of Moultrie, Georgia, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2026, at his residence.

A service to honor and celebrate his life is 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 26, 2026, at New Bethel Baptist Church, with the Reverend Ed Green officiating.

Born December 19, 1971, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was a son of the late Tommy Windell Willoughby, Sr. and the late Virginia Correne Barton Willoughby.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Marsha Diane Dorminey Willoughby; and a brother-in-law, David Thompson.

He is survived by his children, Ashton Michael Willoughby and wife, Crystal, Stormy Danielle Willoughby, Gracie Lee Willoughby, Dylan Thomas Willoughby and Paige Virginia Willoughby; grandchildren, Lucian Willoughby, Xara Willoughby, Freddie Benton, Aiden Willoughby and Alannah Willoughby; siblings, Lorraine Thompson, Tammy Apperson and husband, Wade, Eugenia Tina Outlaw and husband, Mark, and Terry Harvey and husband, David; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends.

He was a hardworking farmer who found great satisfaction in working on the land and providing for the family he loved so dearly. He appreciated the simple things in life and, when the work was done, enjoyed spending quiet afternoons fishing or picking up his guitar and playing a favorite tune.

While farming, fishing, and music were all important parts of his life, nothing meant more to him than his family. His greatest joy was simply being surrounded by the people he loved, sharing stories, laughter, and time together. He especially cherished his grandchildren, who brought an immeasurable amount of happiness and pride into his life. Whether it was a visit, a conversation, or simply having them nearby, those moments were among his most treasured.

He will be remembered not only for the life he lived and the work of his hands, but for the love he gave so freely to his family. The lessons he taught, the memories he made, and the love he shared will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him for generations to come.
