ATLANTA – Tina Lois Manning Reeves, 59, of McDonough, GA, died Monday, September 9.2024 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Ga., after a short illness.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Russ Smith and Beth Lee Garner delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow in Funston Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be Bob Lee, Jackson Lee, Griffin Lee, Ross Smith, William Garner, and Robert Garner.
Born January 11, 1965, in Moultrie, GA., she was the daughter of the late Robert Hugh Manning, Sr. and Virginia Allegood Manning. She was a computer programmer at the Atlanta Postal Credit Union for over 30 years and was a member of Funston United Methodist Church.
A spirited woman who enjoyed the arts, crafts, musicals, 4-H, the outdoors, and especially her family and friends. Tina Manning Reeves was a loving wife, devoted mother, and best friend.
She was preceded in death by her brother who was remarkably close with her, Robert “Hugh” Manning, Jr., and her sister Ella Sue Manning Smith.
Survivors include her husband, Harvey Reeves of McDonough, GA.; her children, William Joel Reeves of McDonough, Ga, and Samantha Reeves of Locust Grove, Ga.; her sister, Lee Manning Courson and her husband Charles of Douglas, GA; her nieces, Dina Smith Black and her husband Craig, and Beth Lee Garner and her husband Hamilton; her nephews, Bob Lee and his wife Becky, and Russ Smith and his wife Myra, all of Tifton, Ga.; her great-nephews, Jackson Lee, John Austin Lee, Griffin Lee, Ross Smith, Robert Garner, and William Garner; her great-niece, Ella Smith, all of Tifton.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Funston Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 87, Funston, GA 31753.
Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
