Susan Hardin Mock, 73, of Moultrie, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 13, 2021, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Brother Tom Lawrence officiating. Interment will follow in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:45 in the chapel.
Casketbearers will be Brad Eunice, Craig Mock, Jaylin Mock, Lance Blanchett, McKenzie Blanchett, Andy Bush, Nayan Patel, Tony Reynolds, and Matthew Weeks.
Born March 25, 1948, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Tommie Lee Hardin and Evelyn Sanders Hardin. She loved the excitement of scratching off lottery tickets, playing Bingo, and spending time in the mountains with friends and family. Her pet dog companions were always part of the family. She was truly known as the "life of the party". She retired from Riverside Manufacturing as an accountant and was a member of Lakeside Assembly of God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her great grandchild, Daemon Mock.
Survivors include her husband of almost 55 years, Freddie Franklin Mock of Moultrie; son, Stephen Craig Mock and wife Tonja of Lake Butler, Florida; daughter, Amy Mock Blanchett and husband Randy of Moultrie; grandchildren, Jaylin Mock, McKenzie Blanchett, Lance Blanchett, Matthew Weeks, Kayla Weeks; great-grandchild, Lily Weeks; brother Johnny Hardin and wife Judy of Moultrie; nephew, Clint Hardin; niece, Lori Reeves; great nephews, Hardin Reeves and Holden Reeves.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Colquitt County Humane Society 1412 1st St NE, Moultrie, GA 31768 or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
