Sue Roberts

Moultrie, GA – Mattie Sue Hutchinson Roberts, 75, of Moultrie, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at her residence.

Graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens with Reverend Julian Griner officiating.  The family will greet friends in the chapel from 2:00-2:45 PM. 

Born October 30, 1946, in Ellenton, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late I. J. Hutchinson and Zeta Mae Weeks Hutchinson.  Mrs. Roberts was a loving lady who treasured every moment with her precious family.  Sunday afternoon drives with her husband were a highlight every week.  She was a talented seamstress, having retired from the manufacturing industry.  Serving as a dedicated caregiver was her most recent occupation.  She was a member of the Baptist faith and enjoyed reading. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Buster Hutchinson and Billy Hutchinson.

Survivors include her husband, James Earl Roberts; children, Kim Roberts of Moultrie, GA, Jim Roberts of Idalou, Texas, Marty Roberts and wife Heather of Lubbock, Texas, Jennifer Richter and husband Andrew of Norman Park; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and special friend Shelby Bennett.
