Shirley Davis Jones, 84, of Moultrie, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
No formal arrangements are planned.
Born August 27, 1937, in Colquitt County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Charlie D. Davis and Nathalee Hancock Davis. Mrs. Jones retired from Hubbell Diecasting as a diecast operator and was a devout Jehovah’s Witness. She enjoyed crocheting and dancing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry B. Jones; son, David Marvin Jones; sisters, Sandra Tillman, Ann Davis; brother, Talley Davis.
Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Evonne Jones Skinner of Panama City Beach, FL; grandchildren, David Berry Jones, Rachael Elizabeth Gay and Abbigail Marie Williams; great-grandchildren, Xavier M. Hindsman, Tristin Gay, Gracie Gay, Layla Gay and Allana Turpen.
