Shelia Fay Walker

MOULTRIE, GA – Sheila Fay Walker, 58, of Moultrie, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024, at her home.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Born January 20, 1966, in Samson, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Bud Walker and Lola Bell Roach Walker. Ms. Sheila attended Geneva Elementary and was a graduate of Geneva High School in Geneva Alabama. She was a self-employed gardener and was of the Pentecostal faith. She loved her family dearly and was always there for them even in the worst of times. Ms. Sheila enjoyed cooking, talking with friends and family, and loved small dogs. 

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Christine Reese, Robert Hardzog, and Tommy Walker.

Survivors include her children, Ronnie E. Slay, Jr. and wife Mechelle, Shena D. Slay; bonus child, Bernon Gilmore, Jr. and wife Teresa; grandchildren, Sabrina D. Slay, Adam L. Slay, Dillon J. Rosales, Noah L. Slay, Robin Gilmore, Terra Gilmore, Lily Gilmore, Amber Gilmore; siblings, Shirley Brock, Linda Blotsky, Brenda Lemoine, Terry Walker, James Walker, Roger Walker, William Walker; several other extended family members and friends.
