Sharon McMurphy Summerlin

Sharon McMurphy Summerlin, 51, of Moultrie, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at Archbold Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, August 30, 2021, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.  Interment will follow in Schley Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends from 1-1:45 PM Monday at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Casketbearers will be Mason Jones, Tyler Summerlin, George Swearingen, Billy Carter, Carlos Castaneda and William Frier.

Born February 5, 1970, in Bartow, FL., she was the daughter of the late George Elmer McMurphy and Mary Evelyn Carter McMurphy.  Mrs. Summerlin was a caretaker and of the Baptist faith.  Mrs. Summerlin loved her family, especially her grandchildren.  In her spare time, she enjoyed puzzles, cooking and crafts.

Survivors include her children, Mason Jones and wife Amber of Moultrie, Tyler Summerlin of Thomasville, Mackenzee Cole, and Makayla Walls; grandchildren, Callie Jones, Ella Jones and Emma Jones; fiancée George Swearingen; brothers, Michael McMurphy, James E. McMurphy both of Thomasville; sisters, Melissa Carroll of Moultrie, Theresa Sealy of Valdosta.
