Doerun, Georgia – Roy V. Kitchens, 79, of Doerun, Georgia, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center, surrounded by his family.

No services are planned at this time.

Born December 25, 1945, in Tifton, Georgia, he was a son of the late Roy Huey Kitchens and the late Vera Alexander Kitchens.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded, he was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Wayne Kitchens; and a daughter-in-law, Penny Kitchens.

He worked in industrial maintenance and enjoyed gardening.

Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline “Jackie” Parrish Kitchens; sons, Wade Kitchens and wife, Christina and Brett Kitchens; grandchildren, Damien, Jackson, Jeffery, Wesley, Bradley, Josie and Cameron; great-grandchildren, Abbie, Chrissy, Scarlett, Olivia, Ronnie Ann, Amanda, Wrenly and Thomas; sister, Irma Chriscoe; as well as several nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
