Robert Joseph "RJ" Sellers

Moultrie, Georgia – Robert Joseph “RJ” Sellers, 83, of Moultrie, Georgia, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026, at Magnolia Manor Assisted Living, with his family by his side.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, January 9, 2026, at Cobb Funeral Chapel, with the Reverend Mark Jordan officiating. Interment will follow at Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens, Garden of Valor, with military honors provided by the Worth County American Legion.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 PM, Friday, January 9, 2026, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Born February 19, 1942, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was a son of the late Jessie Sellers and the late Ocie Nevels Sellers.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nina Faye Baird Sellers; and brothers, Jimmy Sellers and Gene Sellers.

Survivors include his siblings, Helen Strickland, Lorece Terry, Billy Sellers and Janie Sellers and husband, Wayne Graham; several nieces, nephews and other extended family members; as well as his special niece and nephew, Karen and Jerry Bennett, who were his devoted caregivers.

He faithfully served in the United States Army, was of the Christian faith and retired from Ball Corporation.

Memorial contributions may be made to Colquitt Regional Hospice.
