Robert "Justin" Baker

Robert “Justin” Baker, 35, of Moultrie, GA, passed away at his residence on January 25, 2021. 

          Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Rev. Trey Eakins officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.  Chad Calloway, Mikie Carter, Mitch Malone, Jonathan Dunn, Jake Calloway, and Ryan Vick will serve as casketbearers.  Interment will follow in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.  The family will also receive friends at the home of Cindy and J. T. Rowell.  Social distancing guidelines will be followed, and masks are recommended.

          Born June 11, 1985, Justin is the son of Charles Robert “Bob” Baker and Claudia Raylene McCain Baker of Moultrie.  He was a parts and inventory manager with Cox Truck and Van.  Mr. Baker had a passion for taking things apart and putting them back together, and he especially loved working on cars.  Being a Dad to his three children was always a priority which he loved, and he enjoyed spending time at the beach with them.  

          Mr. Baker was preceded in death by his grandparents, James W. “Bill” and Betty Baker and Betty McCain; uncle, William H. “Bill” Baker; and cousin, Kyle Thomas Carter. 

          Survivors include his wife, Katie Baker and daughter, Everly Claire Baker; son, Landen Michael Baker and daughter, Ava Jade Baker whose mother is Megan Baker; sister, Cindy Baker Rowell and husband J. T. Rowell; sisters and brothers-in-law, Tyler Rogers and wife Jessie, Mackenzie Rogers, Kevin Carter and wife Jill, Anthony Warrick and wife Jennah, Aaron Champion; mother-in-law, Lisa Renee Sasser, all of Moultrie; aunts, Delphine McCain Carter of Tifton, Martha Baker Kirkland and husband Larry of Moultrie; cousins, Brad Baker and wife Deb of Atlanta, Kristi Baker Sutton and husband John Paul of Ellenton, Mikie Carter of Moultrie; nieces and nephews, Maycie Rowell, Thomas Rowell, Jordyn Rogers, Jayda Rogers, Jaxon Rogers, Josey Rogers, Lucis Carter, Johnathan Carter, Emilia Carter, and Talon Warrick.
