Leesburg, Georgia – Robert “Bob” A. Sheets, 66, of Leesburg, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Cobb Funeral Chapel, with the Reverend Julian Griner officiating. Interment will be at Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 PM, Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Casketbearers will be Mark Bullard, Cannon Hurst, Jeremiah Davis, Brian Sellers, Mackie Sheets and Wes Blease.

Born June 11, 1959, at Fort Carson, Colorado, he was a son of the late Max Clyde Sheets and the late Beverly Marie Koslowski Sheets.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John H. Sheets and Frank T. Sheets.

Survivors include his wife, Julie Firth Sheets; daughter, Roxanna “Roxy” Bullard and husband, Mark; stepchildren, Terra Rose and Jimmy Rose; grandsons, Cannon Hurst, Walker Blease and Weston Blease; brother, Clyde Sheets, Jr. and wife, Beverly; sister, Rhonda Sheets Roberts and husband, Tony; stepbrother, Brian Sellers and wife, Laura; stepsister, Leanna Gay; sister-in-law, Teresa Sheets; bonus daughter, Leslie Blease and husband, Wes; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family members and friends.

After honorably serving in the United States Army, he managed an automotive body shop and was a very talented body shop repair technician. He enjoyed golf, listening to Rock music, NASCAR, motorcycles, building his own Harley Davidson, shooting guns with his grandson and helping anybody in need.
