MOULTRIE, GA – River Amir Lopez, infant son of Rocky Angel Lopez and Amanda Marie Paredes of Moultrie, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
The family will hold a memorial service at 1:00 PM Saturday, July 22, 2023, at his grandmother Wanda Picon’s residence.
River was loved dearly by his family who will carry the memory of this sweet boy in their hearts always. River is resting peacefully in the arms of Jesus and his heavenly family members who greeted him there.
River was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Helen and Gary Wiggins; and paternal great-grandfather, Antonio Martinez.
In addition to his loving parents, survivors include his brothers, Romeo Tyler Lopez, Rocky Angel Lopez, Jr.; sister, Reyna Lynn Lopez; maternal grandparents, Wanda Picon and significant other Roberto Perez, Edwin Colon and wife Silva; paternal grandmother, Juanita Estrada and significant other, Horacio Castanon, maternal great-grandmother, Maria Alvarado; paternal great-grandmother, Juanita Martinez; several aunts and uncles and numerous extended family members.
