Thomasville Ga.

Raymond Jackson Conger, a dedicated EMT who served the community of Volusia County, FL, has sadly passed away at the age of 83 in Thomasville GA. Born on September 17, 1940, in Palatka, FL, Raymond led a fulfilling life filled with service and passion.

Raymond's commitment to helping others extended beyond his career as he also proudly served as a United States Navy veteran during the Korean War. His bravery and selflessness during his military service reflected his character and values that he carried throughout his life.

Aside from his professional and military endeavors, Raymond had a love for Nascar, fishing, dogs, and collecting Hot Wheels cars. These hobbies brought him joy and relaxation throughout the years.

Raymond will be dearly missed by his surviving family and friends. He is survived by his daughter Sephronia Diantha (Diana) Conger and her significant other Patrick Stowe. He also leaves behind his special friend Barbara Taylor, close friend Tammy Paulk, six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In remembrance of Raymond's life, let us honor his dedication to his community as an EMT and his service to his country in the Navy. His kindness, strength, and love for his family and friends will always be cherished and remembered by those whose lives he touched. May he rest in peace.
