Polly Ann Bailey Weaver

Polly Ann Bailey Weaver, 91, of Moultrie, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at her home.

          Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, August 19, 2021, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Mariea Law officiating.  Interment will be in Oakdale Baptist Church Cemetery.

          Born August 29, 1929, in Princeton, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Paris W. Bailey and Jennie Bell Duncan Bailey.  Mrs. Weaver was an ER licensed practical nurse at Vereen Memorial Hospital and later retired after 25 years of service from Colquitt Regional Medical Center in the ICU.   In her spare time, she enjoyed painting, woodworking and making crafts.

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, John Lewis Clyde “Hambone” Weaver; several brothers and sisters.

          Survivors include her daughter, Pamela E. Weaver of Moultrie.
