Cairo, Georgia – Peggy Jo Rogers Price, 85, of Cairo, Georgia, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2026, at her residence, surrounded by her family.

Interment was at Oakdale Baptist Church Cemetery in Moultrie, Georgia. The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.

Born February 12, 1941, in Ailey, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Mason Arthur Rogers and the late Nannie Ruth Thompson Rogers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Patrick Willis Price; siblings, Hoyle Shelton Rogers, Louise Marjorie Rogers Strickland, Mary Ethel Rogers Murphy, Dorothy Janette Rogers Winkleman, Emma Ruth Rogers Broom, Vera Nell Rogers Jay, Cloyd Mason Rogers, Robert “Bobby” Luther Rogers and Betty Rogers Taylor.

Survivors include her children, Timothy Price and wife, Stacy, and Crytal Price; grandchildren, Madison Lynch and husband, Francis, and Morgan Leach; brother, Tommy Rogers; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family members and friends.

She was a dedicated homemaker and a member of Centennial Methodist Church in Cairo, Georgia.
