Pearl E. Gould Grandy, 94, of Moultrie, died Friday, October 1, 2021, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 4, 2021, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Revs. Brad Walker and Hugh Ward officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.
Daughter of Frank and Pearl Gould, Mrs. Grandy was born June 29, 1927, in Washington, D.C., and had lived in Moultrie since 1982. She was a housewife and a member of First Presbyterian Church. Since moving to Moultrie, she has been involved in activities of First Presbyterian Church, the Cornerstones and the Colquitt County Food Bank.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Charles R. Grandy; her son, Steven R. Grandy; and her sister, Esther Gould Campbell.
She is survived by a daughter, Hope T. Lamb of Thomasville; sons Wayne A. Grandy and wife Connie, Moultrie; Kirk A. Grandy, Clearwater, Fla.; Larry C. Grandy and wife Kathryn, Boston, Va.; and Scott L. Grandy and wife Kim, Warrenton, Va.; a brother, Frank Gould, Sunlakes Ariz.; two sisters, Frances Metz, Batesville, Ind., and Claudia Honeycutt, Iowa Park, Texas; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
