Moultrie, Georgia – Patricia Joyce Ross, 62, of Moultrie, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center while surrounded by the love and comfort of her devoted family.

Her family will honor and celebrate her life with a private memorial service.

Born on March 31, 1964, in Moultrie, Georgia, Patricia was the daughter of the late Rayford McKinely Ross and the late Annie Marie Johnson Ross. She spent her life in the community she called home, where she was known for her kind heart, creative spirit, and the love she so freely shared with those around her.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Rita Faye Gaulding and Cindy Yates; her brothers, Rayford Ross and Bobby Ross; and her brother-in-law, Robert Clayton.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Justin Ross and his wife, Dixie; her treasured grandson, Elijah Ross, who brought immeasurable joy to her life; her sisters, Barbara Ross, Cathy Clayton, and Diane Kosciw and her husband, David; her brothers, Jimmy Ross and Scottie Ross; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever remember the love, laughter, and kindness she brought into their lives.

Patricia worked as a retail sales associate, where she enjoyed meeting people and forming lasting friendships with both customers and coworkers. She had a creative heart and found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She loved photography and had a special appreciation for cameras, often collecting them as a reflection of her passion for preserving memories. She also enjoyed spending hours creating beautiful projects with her Cricut and expressing herself through arts and crafts. Whether she was making a handmade gift or capturing a special moment through a photograph, Patricia found joy in creating things that brought smiles to others.

Above all else, Patricia's greatest happiness came from her family. She treasured every opportunity to spend time with those she loved, especially her son and beloved grandson. Family gatherings, shared conversations, and making lasting memories were the moments she valued most. Her gentle nature, caring heart, and unwavering love for her family will continue to be remembered and cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Though her presence will be deeply missed, Patricia leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and devotion to her family that will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
