Pamela Sue Culp Bentz

MOULTRIE, GA – Pamela Sue Culp Bentz, 74, of Moultrie, passed away Wednesday, August 9 2023, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life Service at a later date.

Born October 2, 1948, in Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Dale Culp and Betty Meyers Culp.   Mrs. Bentz was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who dearly loved her family. She was a Registered Nurse who worked at Colquitt Regional Medical Center for many years before starting the Nurse Care Program at Colquitt County Jail.  Mrs. Bentz was a dedicated nurse who cared for her patients and touched the lives of countless people through her kindness and compassion.  She was of the Baptist faith.   

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Riley Bentz and her best friend, Sara Braswell.

Survivors include her children, Darin Bentz of Crawfordville, FL and Alan Bentz and wife Jennifer of Moultrie; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and brother Douglas Culp and wife Maryann of San Antonio, TX.

For those desiring, memorials may be made in her honor to the Chaplain’s Fund at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
