Ora Harris Singletary, 97, of Coolidge, died Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at Cobblestone Health and Rehabilitation.
No formal services are planned.
Born May 5, 1923 in Blackwell, AR, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson Harris and Agnes Peek Harris. Mrs. Singletary retired from Schreiber’s as a clerk and was the oldest member of Coolidge Memorial Baptist Church. Her family remembers how she loved her family, enjoyed cooking, and make sure you had plenty of food to eat.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wray Singletary; son, Robert Singletary; sisters, Ruby Hamilton and Dorothy Muse; brothers, Clark Harris, Walter Harris, Marion Harris.
Survivors include daughter, Suzanne Foy and husband Reeves of Moultrie; grandchildren, Courtney Edwards and husband Davis, Paulk Foy; great-grandchild, Kennedy Grace Edwards; sister Nona Price of Moultrie, sister-in-law, Bobbie Harris of Moultrie, Marilyn Singletary of Valdosta; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
