Orline Moore Baggett

Camilla, GA – Orline Moore Baggett, 82, of Camilla, formerly of Moultrie, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025, at her residence, surrounded by her family.

Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Terry Siniard officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service.

Born February 4, 1943, in Moultrie, she was the daughter of the late Leroy Moore and Lafontissie Bryant Moore.

A strong independent woman, she was one of the most caring people anyone would ever meet or get to know. She never met a stranger and as soon as she met someone, they became family. No matter how she felt or how much pain she endured, she always had a smile and a kind word for everyone.

She had a childlike personality that made you want to be around her and enjoy her company. She loved stuffed animals and live animals as well. She loved to sit outside and watch the birds, squirrels, goats and puppy dogs.

She loved all children and always had a calming demeanor when they were upset. She was the type of person that wanted to help everyone in any way she could and hurt for those in pain, while trying to hide her own pain.

Some of her favorite hobbies included crocheting, paint by number, word search puzzles and games on her table and phone, as well as going shopping to be around people.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Dian Moore Riggins; father of her children, Edward W. Baillargeon, Jr.; and longtime companions, Johnny Baggett and Larry Wayne Johnson.

Survivors include her children, Sandra B. Baillargeon of Cleveland, GA, Kathy M. Baillargeon of Thomasville, GA, Linda Baillargeon Williams of Moultrie, GA, Edward W. Baillargeon, III of Moultrie, GA and David L. Baillargeon of Moultrie, GA; granddaughters, Trysh Murphy Fleuren and husband Daniel of Camilla, GA, Angie Murphy Daniels and husband Greg of Hartsfield, GA; and numerous other grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
