Nick Dennis Norman

Moultrie, Georgia – Nick Dennis Norman, 85, of Moultrie, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center, while surrounded by his family.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, July 18, 2025, at Sardis Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Reverend Andy Cashwell officiating. Interment will be at Sardis Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and family from 1:00 until 1:45 PM, Friday, at the church.

Casketbearers will be Nathan Norman, BJ Hartley, Zack Hilley, Pace Moseley, Matt Jones and JP Hilley.

Born January 31, 1940, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was a son of the late Joe Wheeler Norman, Sr. and Ola Mae McMullen Norman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie Conaway Norman; and siblings, Virginia Eldridge, Lincoln Norman, Edith Smith, J.W. Norman and Hazel Norman.

He was an active member at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, and was a retired electrician and paint and automobile repair technician. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his children, Russ Hilley and wife Ashley, Kim Snead, Karen Hartley and husband Joey, Jeff Hilley and wife Tillie, Brett Norman and wife Janie; grandchildren, Felicia Krafft, Marion Schuyler, Clifford Schuyler, Tony Schuyler, Shemik Thompson, Bonnie Turner, Julie McDaniel, Jason Hilley, Laura Timmins, Grace Hobbs and husband Jeff, Allison Jones and husband Matt, BJ Hartley and wife Tracy, Nicholas Hartley, JP Hilley and wife Allana, Hailee Sheppard and husband James, Zack Hilley, Samantha Moseley and husband Pace, Nathan Norman; fourteen great-grandchildren; brother, Herman Norman; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
