Nancy Lovett Gray

Moultrie, Georgia – Nancy Lovett Gray, 91, of Moultrie, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at her residence, surrounded by her family.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Trinity Baptist Church, with the Reverend Nick Dawson officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service,

Born October 8, 1934, in Valdosta, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Goodman Lovett, Sr. and the late Louelle Touchton Lovett.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Leroy Gay; brother, Samuel Goodman Lovett, Jr. and wife, Annie; and son-in-law, Mike Graham.

After attaining her Master’s degree, she worked for Moody Air Force Base, the Department of Family and Children Services, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and later became an instructor at Moultrie Technical College. She was a faithful member at Trinity Baptist Church and loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her daughters, Lynne Gray Graham and Leigh Gray Rustin and husband, Telley; grandchildren, Katie Graham Main and husband, Jared, Tyler Reeves and wife, Emily, Matt Graham and wife, Laura, and Brett Graham and wife, Betsy; great-grandchildren, Theo Graham and Mattie Graham; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt appreciation to her caregivers, Bobbie, Renee, Yari, Mahaylah, Pam, Laurie, Shakenia, Mary and Becky.

Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to Trinity Baptist Church or to a charity of your choice.
