Myra Dianne Hancock

Moultrie, Georgia – Myra Dianne Hayes Hancock, 65, of Moultrie, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center, while surrounded by her family.

Graveside memorial rites will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Sunset Hill Cemetery, Valdosta, Georgia.

Born June 11, 1960, in Brooks County, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late James Brown Hayes and Willena Christine Tillman Hayes.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Benny Hancock; and siblings, Tommy Hayes, Bobby Hayes and Wanda Tehonica.

A dedicated homemaker, she enjoyed working in her yard, cooking, word search puzzles and fishing.

Survivors include her children, David Ogletree and wife Petrona Gaspar, Derek Ogletree, Jessica Ogletree and husband Jonathan Moore, Austin Ogletree and wife Geanna; grandchildren, Kayden, Kaje, David, Teresa, Miguel, Camilla, J.J., Dakota, Judson, Pryson, Jayden, Brent and McKayla; siblings, Ronny Hayes and wife Alice, Billy Hayes and wife Jean, Craig Hayes and wife, Sherry, Judy Gantt; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
