Monda Causey Mathis

MOULTRIE, GA.- Monda Causey Mathis, 63, of Moultrie, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Archbold Medical Center. The family will hold a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM on June 25, 2022 at Lifespring Community Church with the Rev. Julian Griner officiating. Born July 15, 1958, in Savannah, she was the daughter of the late Gerald M. Causey and Billie Burgess Causey. Mrs. Mathis was a Veteran having served her country honorably in the United States Navy. She was the owner of DMS Services, Inc. and a certified electrician who helped complete numerous electrical jobs contracted by her company. Mrs. Mathis was very family oriented and dearly loved all her family members. She was a true lady who thought of others first and inspired those around her to be their best. She was a talented artist who loved to share her gifts with her friends and community. Above all, she was a devoted Nana to her grandchildren. Mrs. Mathis was a member of Lifespring Church where she enjoyed worshipping her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Survivors include her daughter, Sarah Crisp of Moultrie; her grandchildren, Gerald Crisp, Melody Crisp, Roy Crisp and Matthew Crisp; siblings, Freddie Causey and wife Penny and James Causey, all of Moultrie along with a number of extended family members and dear friends.
