Born October 23, 1937 in Hillingdon Middlesex, England, she was the daughter of the late Charles Alfred Larman and Daisy Ann Phillips Larmon.  Serving children was Mrs. Jones’ dedicated passion, having worked full time for over 40 years with the Headstart program as a teacher while also working with the YMCA Child Watch program.  A life-changing event occurred in 1998 when she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and joined Heritage Church.  She was passionate in her faith and treasured time talking about God with her dear friends, Ann Castleberry and Margaret O’Neal and anyone else who would listen!  Mrs. Jones was known for collecting angels and trinkets to give to those she loved.  She will always be remembered for her big dimpled smile, encouraging words, giving spirit, genuine love for all, and her unique Southern British accent.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Ray Jones; brothers and sisters, Ellen Francina Pegg, Doris Ann Rushbrook, Alfred James Larman, Jean Rose Wood, Derek Charles Larman, and David John Larman.

Survivors include her sons, Chuck Jones and wife Sherry of Moultrie, Robert R. Jones of Valdosta; grandchildren, Justin Jones and wife Maggie, Jenna Schaffer and husband Jon, James Parker Jones; great-grandchild, Ryker Schaffer; sisters, Iris D. Johnstone and Lynda Teresa Rosser.
