MOULTRIE, GA – Mary Lee Maddux Hicks, 90, of Moultrie, passed away Friday, January 6, 2023.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, January 8, 2023, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Matt Peek officiating. Interment will be at Macon Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 2-2:45 PM Sunday at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
Born July 6, 1932, in Decatur, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Ira LeRoy Maddux and Mary Jo Bowen Bryan. Mrs. Hicks retired from Sears as a service representative with 25 years of service. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed bowling, traveling, and going on cruises.
Survivors include her husband of 72 years, Bobby Gene Hicks of Moultrie; children, Danny Hicks and wife Joan of Carrollton, GA, Karen Cummings and husband Tim of Tifton, GA; grandchildren, Bryan Hicks, Brett Hicks, Jennifer Alexander, Heather Dailey, Kristen McMillan; ten great-grandchildren.
