Elizabeth Matthews Adams

PAVO, GA – Mary Elizabeth Matthews Adams, 61, of Pavo, passed away at her residence on Friday, June 3, 2022. 

Memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Keith Wise officiating. 

Born January 24, 1961, in Colquitt County, she was the daughter of the late Walter A. Matthews and Martha Mann Cone Matthews.  Mrs. Adams was a homemaker who loved her family and enjoyed making arts and crafts in her spare time.  She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Rickey Adams of Pavo; children, Faith Elizabeth Cooper Gregory and husband Travis of Seymour, TN, Matthew J. Cooper of Douglas, GA, and Christopher Lee Cooper of Pavo, GA;  grandchildren, Kaison Gregory, Kaidon Gregory, Crystin Cooper, and Ajay Cooper; great-grandchild, Everleigh Hurst; brother, Lewis Matthews of Lexington, SC; and sister, Elaine Matthews Barrett and husband Michael of Dixie, GA.
