Marion Wayne Tucker

Moultrie, GA. Marion Wayne Tucker, 76, of Moultrie, died Saturday, November 21, 2020, at his home. Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 23, 2020 at Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Julian Griner and Rev. Wayne Woods officiating. Born August 4, 1944 in Moultrie, he was the son of the late Wilburn Tucker and Marie Childs Tucker. He graduated from the University of South Carolina where he played tight end with the Gamecocks. He was the only person to Letter in 5 different sports in his high school career at Moultrie. Mr. Tucker was a people person who enjoyed getting together with friends, and meeting classmates monthly. He was also an avid golfer. Mr. Tucker was an active member of First Baptist Church of Moultrie. He was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Kate Tucker Beard, and brother Jerry Tucker. He is survived by his wife Martha Greene Tucker of Moultrie. Memorial contributions can be made to First Baptist Church of Moultrie Music Ministry, 400 S Main Street, Moultrie, GA 31768.
