Marcus Chad Taylor

Marcus Chad Taylor, 40, of Moultrie, passed away Friday, May 7, 2021 at Colquitt Regional Medical.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, May 10, 2021 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Ron Shiver officiating.  Interment will follow in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens. 

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Casketbearers will be Jackie Flinchum, Tony Jarvis, Cory Sanchez, Mark Harrell, C.J. Harrison, Chevy Strickland and Ethan Hasty.

Born October 10, 1980 in Moultrie, he was the son of Bonnie Jean Jackson Taylor of Moultrie and the late Wayne Taylor.  Mr. Taylor loved his family and playing games with his children.   He enjoyed fishing, working on trucks and all sports.  Mr. Taylor was a very caring person, who always treated people with kindness.  He will be truly missed by many.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dewayne Taylor; maternal grandparents, Thelma and Robert Jackson; paternal grandparents, Dorothy and Carl Taylor; uncle, Eddie Taylor.

In addition to his mother, survivors include his children, Keira Taylor, Dakota Taylor both of Moultrie, GA; aunts and uncles, Mary and Jerrell Jarvis, Betty White, Debbie and Ricky Jackson, Debbie and Ronnie Jackson all of Moultrie, GA, Wylene and James Kelly, Pat and Lamuel Taylor all of Chaserville, GA, Elizabeth and Darrell Taylor of Tifton, GA, Gina Taylor of Nashville, GA.
