Marcus Del Flannigan

Moultrie, Georgia – Marcus Del Flannigan,72, of Moultrie, Georgia, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center surrounded by his family.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Born August 16, 1953, in Albany, Georgia, he was a son of the late Mark Edgar Flannigan and the late Mamie Miles Flannigan.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Rosemary Flannigan Johnson; and a nephew, Ray Johnson.

With honor and courage, he served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era. He later became a professional clown, providing entertainment to many throughout the years. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping, hiking, woodworking and beadmaking.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa Folds Flannigan; son, Matthew Dereck Flannigan and wife, Kelly Erin; daughter, Denean Henderson; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Henderson, Emily Henderson, Jon Henderson and Jonah Henderson; great-grandchildren, Lilyanna Ross, Rowan Ross and Makhal Prescott; sisters, Sylvia Flannigan Sawyer, Brenda Flannigan Russell and Donna Flannigan Bartlett and husband, Johnny; sister-in-law, Pat Folds Redfearn and husband, Danny; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family. He is also survived by close friends, Frances Hampton, Rebecca Hampton and Donna Perry and husband, Dave.
