LIzzie Wilson Parker

Lizzie Wilson Parker, 94, of Moultrie, passed away Friday, September 9, 2022, at her residence with family by her side.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Reverend Herbert Waid officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Born January 4, 1928, in Moultrie, she was the daughter of the late Horace Wilson and Minnie Silvers Wilson. Lizzie enjoyed traveling and visiting yard sales to add to her collection.  She was very interested in ancestry and loved her family and friends. She worked and retired from the Colquitt County Board of Education as a bus driver for 34 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Parker; son, Ricky Curtis Parker; brother, Romy Wilson; sister, Bernice Bass; niece, Sammie Silknitter; nephews, Wayne Hamlin and Billy Hamlin.

Survivors include her sister Virginia Hamlin of Jacksonville, Florida; cousin, Phyllis Willis of Albany; nieces, Diane Yates and Lynwood of Moultrie, Sandra Noyallis and Ed; Vicki Huff and Harold of Montgomery, Alabama; nephew, Si Wilson and Joanne of Moultrie.

Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
