Lindsey Carol Horne

BERLIN, GA – Lindsey Carol Horne, 33, of Berlin, passed away Friday, March 17, 2023.

The family will hold a memorial celebration of life service at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Hempstead Community Church with the Rev. Billy Wilkes and Jeffrey Johnson officiating.  Mrs. Demeisha Edmonds will provide special musical for the service.  

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM Saturday at the church. 

Born September 19, 1989, in Colquitt County, Georgia, she was the daughter of Vicki Celena Horne Stripling of Berlin and the late Cameron Hujuene Sanders.   Lindsey was the owner/operator of Lindsey’s Way and a member of Berlin Baptist Church.  She was a person who considered everyone equal and always tried to see the good in people.  Lindsey loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.  She enjoyed playing games online, was an avid shopper both in the store and online and loved animals. 

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Estelle Wills Sanders; maternal grandmother, Carolyn Cardin Stafford; maternal great-grandmother, Helen Mason Walker.

In addition to her mother, survivors include her siblings, Alexis “Lexi” Paige Price, Landon Willis Price and wife Melissa; maternal grandfather, Richard Verlin Stafford; a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Serenity House, PO Box 14, Moultrie, GA. 31776 and or the Hero House, 617 1^st Street, SE, Moultrie, GA. 31768.
