Lavada Mason Folds

Lavada Mason Folds, 88, of Berlin, died Monday, August 17, 2020 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

          Graveside rites will be held 2:00PM Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Sardis Cemetery with the Rev. Stuart Bundy officiating.  Social distancing guidelines will be followed, and masks are recommended.

          Born July 22, 1932 in Colquitt County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Osborn Mason and Blanche Pridgen Mason.  Mrs. Folds was a homemaker who loved taking care of her family and was of the Baptist faith. 

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Deward Folds; brothers, Raymond Mason and Junior Mason; sister, Sue Rozier.

          Survivors include her son, Jamie Deward Folds of Berlin; sisters, Christine Boyd and husband Junior, Gayle Boyd and husband William all of Berlin, Gertie Stafford of Moultrie; several nieces, nephews and other family members.
