Larry Joe Calloway, 69, of Sylvester, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022, at Phoebe Worth Medical Center.
A visitation will be held from 10-11:00 AM Friday, January 21, 2022 at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
Born August 13, 1952, in Doerun, Georgia, he was the son of the late Joe Byrd Calloway and Drew Willie Reeves Calloway. Mr. Calloway was the owner/operator of C&C Carpets. He loved fishing, playing pool and loved riding around.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Allen Keith “Peanut” Calloway; brothers, Billy Ray Casper and Paul Hoyt Calloway.
Survivors include his children, Amanda Price and husband Bill of Lead, S.D., Ashli “Punky” Huff and husband David of Sylvester; grandchildren, Devin Wright and wife Cheltsie, Magen Ebbers and husband Jordan, Alyssa Huff, Hayden Huff; great-grandchildren, Kylie, Kaylie, Kolton, Everli, Hope, Xander, Skyler; sisters, Christine Pilgram of Norman Park, Carolyn Jackson of Moultrie, Martha Dale Calloway, Diane Morey and husband Thomas all of Norman Park; brother, Travis Calloway and wife Lynn of Doerun.
