Kurt Lee White

Kurt Lee White, 13, of Moultrie, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at Heritage Church with Pastor Brad Bowen and Rev. Klay Luke officiating.  Interment will follow in New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at Cobb Funeral Chapel from 6:00 to 8:00 Tuesday evening.

Casketbearers will be Dallas Pitts, Derrick Pitts, Bubba White, Bucky Miller, Jacob Miller and Blake White.  Honorary casketbearers will be Reese Hood, Leighton Hood, Ryan Bell, Fletcher Sweat, Kaden King, Bailey Hamm, Asher Griner, Randle Crew, Landon Kinard, and Tyler Hicks.

Born October 25, 2008, in Griffin, GA, he was the son of Kim White, Jennifer White, and Keith White.  Kurt was a student at Willie J. Williams Middle School and was a member of the wrestling team.  He was a member of Heritage Church.  He enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing, playing on the computer with his friends, and playing football and baseball.  Kurt had a wonderful personality and enjoyed making people laugh.  Spending time with his friends, particularly his boys, was a favorite pastime.  He was loved by so many.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Kleman White. 

Survivors include his mothers, Kim White and Jennifer White of Moultrie; his father, Keith White and Barbara of Nichols, GA.; brothers and sisters, Kerra White of Moultrie, Kassie White of Meigs, Joel White and Billy of Leesburg, Blake White and Cristi, Megan Pitts and Derrick all of Moultrie; Kyle White and Whitney of Whigham: uncles, Kris White and wife Courtney of Meigs, Bucky Miller of Moultrie; maternal grandparents, Carolyn White and the late Kleman of Meigs; maternal grandparents, Linda and Franklin Miller of Moultrie; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and other family members.
